Hello,

I took the liberty of adding direct support for the Turbo Chameleon to
"Nuclear Reaction 2100", a simple board strategy game. This game
features an AI player that calculates its moves much quicker with the
CPU turbo enabled, enhancing game flow.

The game will automatically detect the Chameleon and temporarily enable
the CPU turbo when the AI is working. Of course, the game still works on
normal C64 computers without a Chameleon.

I attached a binary, the source code can be found over at

The computer seems pretty fast. But i think i need to read a manual to this game first :-)

Great work! I hope we see more Chameleon adapted games on the future :-)


The transition between activate/deactivate turbo is very smooth, without any glitches.


Is it possible to do this from Basic?
