VIC20 test core released

Good evening, beta testers!

This time we give you as a little present from the developers a (mostly :))
fully working VIC20 core!

You may wonder why we are wasting resources on this when there are still many
things to fix in the TC64 core - the reason is that to fix the 1541 drive
emulation, we mostly need to fix the VIAs (the i/o port chips of the 1541).
However, writing test programs for the drive is somewhat annoying and time
consuming - having a simple computer with a screen that has VIAs as a core,
and being able to test against such "real" machine too, would make it much
more convenient to develop and run test programs. Making a VIC20 core was a
natural choice at this point, because it is a fairly simple computer, and we
already had all building blocks except for the video chip (VIC), so Peter
hacked together the missing bits, and i quickly ported some of the bootloader
code from the TC64 menu so we can at least load some defaults ROMs from sd
card.

Awesome. Works fine here, and c64joystick not _too_ wonky. I especially
like the native c64 keyboard:)

Also, for the people who might have some difficulties grabbing the
necessary romfiles:

Just a very short Question: If we notice some very odd behaviour in the Core, shall we report those or is it of no interest for you?


(I mean like in "Chuck Norris", where you are able to move the whole screen around with your Joystick)

not right now, we are aware that many things (especially in the VIC emulation)
are not 100% :)

btw - many vic20 games allow to do that, so you can adjust the display
position to your tv/monitor (cheap way to support both pal and ntsc)
